Title
Sunday I went to see JM play with his band and they were good as always. I got a few people to come as well. The other bands weren't anything special. One was a cover band. The guitarist seemed to have pretty decent skills at reproducing songs and such. As for the band that played afterwards. I knew a few of them through high school. I spoke to them a few times etc. I recognized their friends in the crowd. Most of them I knew through high school as well. After those bands finished playing CoaHS went on stage and the room was empty. I, however noticed that one guy in the crowd was attempting to heckle or something to that affect. I recognized him too, I even recall his last name. Boudreault. Obviously he was just barely audibly yelling out a few words to mock my friends. Ignorant statements like calling them "emocore" which CoaHS is far from. Another statement was that when my friend was just saying the song titles between songs he "check le bin entrain de réciter des poêmes". I do admit that JM's band did have quite the contrast to the two previous bands, both in the style, technicalities and general crowd it pulled in. Anyways, I didn't let it ruin my evening. I also got Sarah to come along, and she seemed to have enjoyed it once again.

When you're a kid and you want to Wii...
Sunday morning, still disappointed my part time job made me go in, I got up and drove over to the EBGames I had gotten my preorder at. After waiting in line for about an hour they informed the crowd that they had sold all the non-preorder units. The crowd thinned out and just a few of us were left. Some people ended up camping the evening before. I imagine most of those got what they wanted. I ended up talking to this guy who had bought a PS3 and he was discussing about what he’s enjoyed about the console so far. Apparently some people were jumping stores (mind you this is still around 9:20am) and most of them had run out. After aquiring my huge bag of Wii stuff I got home, unpacked and plugged it in, created a Mii with my nephew and had to leave to work. 7 aggravating hours later I went back home and tried this out for the first time. Played Wii sports most of the night. I glanced at Zelda and Red Steel but I’m keeping those for sometime this week.
The whole wireless thing is odd, but I enjoy it. I setup the Wii on my network and got DK off the Wii Store. I still can’t find Opera though.
Other than that, friday night James Bond (amazing), saturday day off, anime con... decent.
