Stampy the Elephant
I recently purchased the Wizards of the Coast take on the old Axis and Allies game.
They've basically taken Axis and Allies and have made something that has no similarities with the board game. In fact, I'd almost say it resembles Warhammer more than the board game. No matter, since this is a 2 player game it can fill that weird gap you get from not having enough people to play the real deal.
Here's a URL in case you don't know what the hell I'm writting about.... then again... I think my only audience is a friend in Montreal who's either played or heard of it before.

The Silent Hill movie trailer has me all giddy as of late. I'm a fan of the series as you've probably read before. I'll have to wait patiently for it this spring... probably even summer, I imagine other movies will pique my interest along the way. So far The Pink Panther, not starring Peter Sellers, has my curiosity. Aside from the usual piece of ass they put in the cast to lure mr.Jerkoff into giving money for a film he has no other motivation to see, they've put 3 other actors that could make this movie entertaining and a little funny at the same time. I wonder if Jean Reno will have a good role.
In video game news, nothing much has been happening, I've enjoyed what I've played of Dragon Quest so far... guv'... and I'm most likely going to trade in SotC for something else... the game is fantastic, I loved it but I don't see myself beating it again and again. I've seen screenies of the Worms game on both portable game stations and I'm more impressed with the PSP version, so I imagine that it'll be what I trade it in for if the games are being released soon. Also it seems that Sony learned from Nintendo that there's a good market in releasing the same thing over and over again because they're putting out a whole lot of old SNES/PS1 games on it... well okay... not a whole lot but a few:
Street Fighter
A Chibi remake of megaman ... NO
and there's some other stuffs somewhere... I can't find it anymore...
So yeah, back in school with a bigger grind this time around. I need to find myself a job, this lack of income is killing me.

My quest
For 3 outings at the local grocery store(s) I have came back home empty handed with my craving which is Dr.Pepper in canned form. Last time I caved and went for a 2L, simply to remember why I liked this over pepsi so much. Today, was no exception. I went to sleep thinking about how great it would be to get shawarma, this morning I wake up only to discover that outside became a frozen lake overnight. I postponed my shawarma but decided to go to the store to find my favorite dr. Disapointed, having not found it in canned or 2L form, I walk to the cash register and find this odd labeled bottle. Dr.Pepper with a cherry and a beige interlaced background. After purchasing I discover it's diet. Those bastards got me! They got me to purchase dr.Pepper in diet form. I gave it a try, three seconds later I decided never to try diet pop again. Now I just have to finish this sucker up.
